Dithiocarbamates
The fastest accelerator class (ZDBC, ZDEC, ZDMC). Common in latex, low-temperature curing and EPDM. They require short processing safety.
Dithiocarbamates are the fastest accelerator class. Because they are active even at low temperature, they are used in latex products, low-temperature cured parts and low-unsaturation rubbers such as EPDM.
Zinc salts (ZDMC, ZDEC, ZDBC) are the most common. Sodium salts (SDBC) are water-soluble and are used in latex dispersions. Copper, iron and tellurium salts are intended for special applications such as butyl rubber.
Nickel dithiocarbamates (NDBC) are used not as accelerators but as ozone and heat stabilizers; on this site they appear under antidegradants.
