Is MBTS sufficient on its own?It can be used alone in NR, SBR and NBR technical goods where a medium-speed cure is wanted. If it stays too slow, it is activated with a small amount of thiuram or guanidine.
What does MBTS do in a chloroprene (CR) compound?In chloroprene it acts like a scorch retarder. A small amount is added to ETU systems to increase processing safety.
