FAQ
Why is DCBS used in steel cord adhesion compounds? It is the sulfenamide with the longest delay. The slow-starting cure gives time for the adhesion layer between brass-plated steel cord and rubber to form properly. It is standard in radial tire belt and carcass compounds.
